Nude female dancer entertains Pattaya drivers

A woman climbed up onto the roof of a car and stripped off at a set of traffic lights in the heart of Pattaya last Friday. Ms Sukhontha Khemthong was a passenger in a car driven by her younger sister when police stopped the vehicle following reports it had been involved in a hit-and-run accident.

Police were following up on a complaint made by German national Johann Mitterpleininger that a white Mazda had run into him and then driven off without stopping. Police officers spotted the Mazda and pulled it over at the traffic lights.

The officers asked the driver, Ms Khemthong’s sister Suthatip, to step out of the vehicle. While her sister was being questioned by the officers, witnesses said that what appeared to be a severely intoxicated woman staggered out of the car.

The witnesses said the woman later identified as Sukhontha Khemthong clambered up on top of the car, took her clothes off and started to dance. The unusual sight of the naked woman caused traffic to back up at the traffic lights.

Police requested the assistance of several female bystanders who helped bring the dancer down to earth where police arrested her and later charged her with being drunk and disorderly.

Sister Suthatip will also be facing charges of drunk driving and criminal damage to other road users. She allegedly told police that she had been drinking with Sukhontha at a Walking Street pub before the accident.

Suthatip added that she planned to report the accident at a police station, but needed to get her sister home first as she tended to get rowdy when drunk. Mr Mitterpleininger was uninjured in the original collision and his Yamaha motorcycle only had superficial damage.
