The Dead Sea moves to Pattaya

One of Pattaya’s top hotels has imported Dead Sea salt and mud for use in treatments at its contemporary spa. The Nova Hotel & Spa offers its guests the opportunity of relaxing in flotation pools loaded up with Dead Sea salts and rejuvenating treatments with mud brought in from the bottom of the lowest lake on earth.

The hotel is at the heart of Pattaya’s draws and is managed by the Centara Hotels group. The Nova’s onsite Spa Cenvaree is the first in Thailand to take advantage of elements that are believed to have been rejuvenating and beneficial to human health since the time of Herod the Great.

An integral part of taking a spa at the Cenvaree is now a graceful float in a Dead Sea pool. The salt waters are said to cure skin problems including dermatitis and eczema as well as have a calming influence on the body’s central nervous system.

The Dead Sea salts contain potassium, zinc, calcium and other beneficial chemical matters that leave bathers with rosy and healthy complexions. A wrap in Dead Sea mud detoxifies the body, and is helped in the curative process with a body polish using herbs and seaweed collected locally.

The Cenvaree also offers invigorating Vichy rain showers, steam baths and a full range of massages which are administered by professional masseuses and masseurs. The spa offers day packages with special discounts that include several different treatments. Details available at http://www.spacenvaree.com/
