Next week’s Pattaya International Music Festival 2011 will feature some of the biggest stars in the Asian music industry. The 10th edition of the eagerly anticipated event will feature three evenings of musical performances by singers and musicians from all over the region.
Work has already started on preparing the beaches and four gigantic stages that will stretch along the coast from North to South Pattaya. Rain and Son Dam Bi are two Korean superstars, extremely popular with Thais, who are being flown in to perform on the Universal Stage beside the Hard Rock Cafe, at 21:00 on 19 March.
Other performers complementing the wealth of home grown musicians during the three evenings of thrilling performances include Japan’s Johnny's Junior and Kis-My-Ft2, Malaysian Will Ng and PAK from Vietnam. Music lovers are offered free admission on all three evenings.
During the previous decade, Pattaya’s music festival has evolved into the Kingdom of Thailand’s biggest music event and also the longest on a beach in the Asia Pacific region.
As is customary with high profile happenings in Thailand vendors and food stalls will be offering a full range of beverages, delicious local specialities and dishes, and products as well as side amusements.
Pattaya International Music Festival 2011 will take place from 18 to 20 March, with live music from 18:00 to 24:00. More details can be obtained at the Tourist Authority of Thailand’s call centre on 1672.
