Pattaya offers good hotels prices compared to other popular seaside destinations in Thailand, with a huge range of hotels and serviced apartments that cater for everyone from bachelor punters to package tourists. Opt for the heart of the girlie bar action off Beach road, South Pattaya, or go upmarket in North Pattaya and Naklua. Alternatively head to Jomtien beach if you’ve come for the sun loungers. Great restaurants are scattered across Pattaya to suit all tastes, while the nightlife is found near the walking street and Beach road lanes. Very few hotels have their own beach, but you’re never far from the sand.
